Retrograde mitral cell labelling
Mitral cells in the mouse olfactory bulb labelled in vivo by retrograde transport of dextran-conjugated fluorescent dye (rhodamine dextran) applied to the lateral olfactory tract. Many mitral cells are labelled, along with their secondary dendrites. In some cases, pirmary dendrites and apical tufts within glomeruli are visible.
