Ann Dix, AuD. CCC/A
This photo of me shows early audiological influence.
Ann Dix holds a B.A. in French and an M.S. and AuD in Audiology. Her interest in hearing conservation and the human response to music and sound led to her M.S. thesis "Loud Music and Hearing Conservation: Attitudes and Behaviors of Rock/Pop Musicians" and to other publications and presentations on this subject, including an ongoing survey study. Ann has been a member of the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences faculty at Boston University's Sargent College since 1997. She is advisor to the freshmen with majors in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, and to NSSLHA, and is responsible for teaching and supervising clinical aspects of audiology and aural rehabilitation to M.S.-SLP students.
