Ms. DiGrande's clinical interests are in multimodal and integrative approaches to stuttering treatment for groups and individuals. In particular, she is interested in integrating fluency shaping, stuttering modification, cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness-based stress reduction approaches in the treatment of stuttering.
Parent education and counseling for pre-school children at risk for stuttering are of a keen interest to Adriana and she has developed a pediatric fluency approach for pre-school children and their families. She is also interested in working with individuals with acquired dysfluency and with children with Down Syndrome who stutter.
Ms. DiGrande is also actively committed to the clinical training of Speech-Language-Pathology graduates students by providing clinical practicum opportunities during her intensive group programs.
