Derya Aksaray

I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at Boston University, where I work with Calin Belta. I received my Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014. Before that, I received my M.S. and B.S. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2011 and from Middle East Technical University, Turkey in 2008, respectively.

My research interests lie primarily in the fields of control theory, design and optimization, and autonomous systems. In my Ph.D. thesis, I focused on the design and control of multi-UAV systems for persistent surveillance operations. Recently, I am working on the analysis and control of cyber-physical systems with a formal methods approach.
