Margaux Canevari (M.S. Applied Anatomy and Physiology, 2012): Margaux Canevari received her M.S. in Applied Anatomy and Physiology at Boston University in 2012. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2011. Currently, she is studying for her D.O. at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine while on the Army's Health Professional Scholarship. During her time in the Stepp Lab, Margaux completed her thesis on "Acoustic Correlates of Intelligibility in Parkinsonian Speech." Her previous research includes a synthetic biology project through the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition, as well as neural auditory and neural visual studies. Her hobbies include cooking and reading about the Tudors.  
 
   
Jake Herrmann (B.S. Biomedical Engineering, 2012): Jake Herrmann is a graduate student in biomedical engineering at Boston University. His research interests involve computational methods and novel technology applied to physiological systems. Jake's hobbies include playing ping pong and making tasty food.
 
   
Howard Terry (B.A. in Biology, 2012): Howard Terry is research assistant at Albany Medical Center. His research interests include behavioral, clinical, and cognitive neuroscience, more specifically studying patients with neurological deficits. Howard plans to attend graduate school to obtain a master's degree in the field of neuroscience and further pursue his research interests in neuroscience.
 
   
Elias Thorp (B.S. Biomedical Engineering, 2012): Elias Thorp is a doctoral student in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University His research interests include signal processing and using technology to improve the qualities of people's lives. His hobbies are playing sports and hanging out with friends.
 
   
Boris Virnik (B.S. Biomedical Engineering): Boris Virnik is pursuing employment in the consulting industry. His research interests include technological innovation in the medical industry, neurotechnology, and signal processing. His hobbies are tinkering with gadgets and gizmos as well as playing sports.
