Hydrophobic core of villin headpiece

The McKnight lab is interested in protein structure, function, folding & evolution. We use biophysical methods, especially NMR spectroscopy, to study a variety of systems including: actin-binding "headpiece" domains, the p22 arc repressor, & the protein component of low density lipoproteins, apolipoprotein B.
