Fraternity of the Year 2001

Boston University Inter Fraternity Sorority Council

This award is given to the fraternity with the most campus involvement, greatest contributions to the community, and chapter excellence.

  

Program of the Year: Silence the Violence

Boston University Student Activities Office

Chi Phi was awarded with Program of the Year for its date rape seminar which several guests spoke to new members of the Greek community and students at BU about the myths and facts about date rape.

   

Thomas Ghering Award Runner-Up

Chi Phi Fraternity National

Tau Zeta was the runner up for the top national award, given to the best chapter in the fraternity.  Our excellent achievements had made us a top contender for this year's award.

   

Philanthropic Achievement Award

Chi Phi Fraternity National

Our food drives, clothing drives, blood drives, CCF child sponsorship, and date rape seminar were all recognized at the national level, winning us the Philanthropic Achievement Award for community service.

  

Most Improved Chapter Runner-Up

Chi Phi Fraternity National

Our vast improvements and achievements have been recognized nationally by our fraternity, making us a top candidate for the Most Improved Chapter Award.
