About Chi Phi

Between 1824 when the Chi Phi Fraternity was founded and the present stands an immense period of time that is reflective of the strength and permanence of the principles of Chi Phi.  Truth, honesty, and personal integrity have been the foundation for the oldest Fraternity in the United States and with results that speak for themselves.

The Tau Zeta chapter of Chi Phi here at Boston University is less than a decade old, yet one of the strongest Fraternities here, as well as one of the strongest Chi Phi’s nationwide.  The prestige of winning Fraternity of the Year at Boston University in 1995, 97, 98, 99, and 2001 is just a sample of our achievements and dedication to excellence.  To have achieved this status in such a short time is the culmination of the hard work and diligence of a multitude of Brothers past and present.

Yet not one of the awards received have meant a thing in comparison to the intense and ever-lasting bond that we share as Brothers.  In good times and bad, we share ties that no one, no thing, and no amount of time could ever unravel.

Why rush Chi Phi?  Two words: For Life.  A chance to make friends you can count on for life; a chance to have an experience like no other that you will remember for life; a chance to develop practical, social and leadership skills you will need for life, and to make the most of yourself while having the time of your life.
