|
I was born in Moscow, the capital city of Russia and, at that time, the heart of Soviet Union. When my family watched the news everything stopped around the house and the little 19 inch box became our window into the world. It was probably then, during the times of Gorbachev, Regan, and Yeltsin's speeches, that I understood my fascination in world order and its affairs. I am in my senior year at Boston University, with a major in International Relations Diplomacy and Foreign Policy of Eastern Europe and Russia, with a minor in International Business. I believe it is the United Nation's goal to expose us to these unknowns and raise knowledge, awareness, and readiness to tackle hardships and injustices around the world. |
