The Annual BU Tournament was a fantastic success; thanks to everyone who made it run as well as it did. You’ve all earned a flash-pass to Heaven or a reincarnation card to upgrade from ‘grass’ to ‘antelope.’
Thanks to everyone that came to the 3rd annual Boston University Debate Tournament. We enjoyed hosting it, and hope you enjoyed competing in it. Without further ado, the results:
APDAMETRICs had six finalists. They were eliminated in this order: Ben Hebert, Justin Berkowitz, Marty Roth, Will Newman, and Phil Larochelle, leaving a winner of Elaine Ewing.
In the Feud, the North of David Kimel, Nate Goralnik, Will Newman (captain), Adam Nir, and Rich Powell defeated the Not-North of Ian Kemp, Christian Asmar, Neil Vakharia (captain), Tim Fletcher, and Amanda Entin in a thrilling seesaw match-up, 188 to 122.
Special thanks to Adam Unikowsky, APDA as a whole for helping with the surveys, Justin Laden for being Assistant Media Director, and all the dinos.
And in the actual debates.
