Hi my name is Mikhail Breslav and I am currently a 3rd 4th 5th final year PhD candidate in the Computer Science Department at Boston University. I am a member of the Image and Video Computing group where I work under the joint guidance of my advisor Dr. Margrit Betke, and co-advisor Dr. Stan Sclaroff.

My broad research interests are in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Specific topics that I am interested in include 3D pose estimation, 2D part detection, 2D/3D shape analysis, data-association, and tracking.

Prior to starting the PhD program at Boston University I was a student at The Pennsylvania State University - University Park. There I majored in Electrical Engineering and earned both a B.S and M.S degree. As a Master's student I had the pleasure of being a member of the Multi Dimensional Image Processing Lab, where I worked under the supervision of Dr. William Higgins.

During the course of my education I have gained industry experience through internships at: Nokia HERE, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lockheed Martin, C-COR (now ARRIS), and RFL Electronics.
