Chorus Underscore

The Chorus Underscore served to weave the chorus scenes in and through the text. This is an excerpt from a soundscore that revolved around sonic textures that I would refer to as 'earth tones'- gritty, suggestive of rock and the earth. The two underlying components are played on a digital sampler. The low tone is actually a wet-finger-on-wineglass-rim patch made from several different size (and hence slightly different fundamental pitch) glasses and played 3 octaves below their natural pitches. The gritty textural sound is also played on the sampler, being a knife being slowly drawn across a sharpening steel.
