All the World's a Grave
For its Fall '10 production, BUSS put on "All the World's a Grave": A Shakespearean mashup directed by Karen Walden and Katherine Lochery, and written by John Reed. This play took a departure from our normal Shakespearean fare, putting a twist on some of the Bard's best characters.
A group of seemingly delusional tragedians wander the halls of a local insane asylum. Driven to madness by their indecision, hate, guilt, paranoia, and jealousy, Hamlet, Macbeth, the Queen, Romeo, Iago, Juliet, and King Lear appear doomed to forever wonder what could have been. However, refusing to resign themselves to the trappings of reality, this group of crazed tragedians searches for resolve within the confines of their own minds.
This production took place October 29th & 30th in the Student Theater at Agganis Arena.
