HUNGER FACTS AND STATS
Massachussetts Annual Hunger Report Card 2007
Project Bread produces this report each year to show the
prevalence of hunger and to share successful strategies to feed
hungry people. As this year's report makes clear, hunger has increased
in our state, especially among working families with children. With
the high cost of housing -- along with skyrocketing heating bills
-- there is a now a record level of hunger in low-income
communities, affecting children in disproportionate numbers.
