| The Allegrettos are Boston Universities most controversial CoEd A Capella group. Their voices have been ringing through the halls of BU for over 10 years and have proven time and time again that they're the best, inside and outside the concert hall.
Auditions are coming up for the fall. All are welcome! Sign ups have taken place at Splash! If you would like to sign up for an audition, but did not have the time to, feel free to send an email to allegro@bu.edu or fill out a form on the contact section. Auditions will take place Thursday September 11, and Sunday September 14 at the College of Fine Arts from 7-10pm. The audition procedure involves 3 parts. You will first perform a range test through the singing of scales, followed by a tonal section in which you will repeat a few notes played on the piano. This helps us to determine your tonal recognition as well as your fast memorization skills. Finally, you will perform a short (1 verse and 1 chorus) solo from a song of your choice.
