Ashley Harris
enters her first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer
with Boston University's Sports Medicine Department. She will
be working with the men's and women's swimming and diving teams
for the 2007-2008 season.
Harris is
currently enrolled as a graduate student in BU's School of Education
working toward a master's degree in Health Education. She is
also a teaching assistant for BU's athletic training education
program.
Prior to
her arrival at BU, Harris graduated with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin
at La Crosse. As a senior, Harris was president of the UW- La
Crosse Athletic Trainer's Association. Throughout her undergraduate
career, Harris had the opportunity to work as an athletic training
student with women's cross country, men's and women's swimming
and diving, baseball, football, volleyball, and women's track
and field teams. She also spent time working as an athletic
training student at Central High School.
A native
of Minnesota, Harris is a member of the National Athletic Trainers'
Association and is a licensed athletic trainer by the Massachusetts
Board of Allied Health.
