Jenna Cherenzia will be
entering her first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer
on the Boston University Sports Medicine staff. Her primary
responsibility will be to provide coverage for the BU Field
Hockey team.
A graduate of the University
of New Hamsphire in December 2005, Cherenzia earned her Bachelor
of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic
Training. During her undergraduate experience in Durham, she
was a athletic training student with a variety of sports including
the Wildcat football, women's lacrosse and track and field teams.
After graduation, Cherenzia
spent one year as an Intern Assistant Athletic Trainer on the
UNH Athletic Training staff for the 2006-07 academic year. Her
primary duties included coverage of the women's volleyball and
track and field teams, while assisting with various other athletic
programs at New Hampshire.
Cherenzia is a BOC Certified
Athletic Trainer and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board
of Allied Health. She is currently enrolled in Sargent College's
Applied Anatomy and Physiology graduate degree program.
