Marcy Buselli begins her
first year as an assistant athletic trainer with Boston University's
Sports Medicine department after serving as a graduate assistant
athletic trainer during the 2006-07 year. She will work primarily
with the BU Wrestling team, while assisting with the Women's
Lacrosse and Women's Rowing squads.
Buselli is currently finishing
her degree requirements in the applied anatomy and physiology
graduate program at the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation.
She also serves as a teaching assistant for BU's Athletic Training
Education Program.
Prior to her arrival at
BU, Buselli graduated from Northeastern University in May 2006
with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Her primary
undergraduate work included two seasons (2004, 2005) with the
Harvard University football team in addition to working with
the Northeastern men's ice hockey team during the 2004-05 campaign.
In addition, Buselli had experience with the Huskies' football,
women's basketball, soccer and track and field squads. She also
pent the winter 05-06 season with the men's basketball program
at Emmanuel College.
A Connecticut native, Buselli
is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and
is a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the Massachusetts Board of
Allied Health.
