Boston University
has four (4) Graduate Assistant positions available on an as-needed
basis. This is a Division I position that requires a 2-year course of
study. The position involves all facets of a Division I level sports
medicine program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Administration
and organization duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.
Supervision of Athletic Training Students may also be required. Graduate
Assistant Athletic Trainer's are expected to travel at least one (1)
season with a team assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. Typical
sport assignments include: swimming and diving, women's lacrosse, softball,
field hockey and wrestling. Graduate Assistants will also be mentored
by a full time ATC who will aid in the transition from undergraduate
experience to full-time staff positions.
