Events
The sports medicine department will cover the majority of athletic events at Boston University. Activation of the EAP will be initiated by BUSM.

The following services will be available on the sideline for certain events:

1. Certified Athletic Trainer
2. AED, Airway/Breathing materials
3. Vacuum splints
4. Crutches/Immobilizers
5. Cell phone

Practices
In the event of an emergency that requires advanced medical personnel, with no Boston University staff in attendance, the visiting certified athletic trainer on site shall follow these procedures:

• Call BUPD 617.353.2121 for ambulance or 3.2121 from a Boston University landline phone
• Give location of street address (listed below)
