BME Day is a nationally recognized event, where the department of Biomedical Engineering opens its doors to the Boston University and local community. Past participants have included Biomedical Engineering faculty and students (both graduate and undergraduate), other students from the Boston University community, up to 100 visiting High School students, undergraduate Biomedical Engineers from universities across the country, and various guest speakers from within the profession.

BME Day aims to expose individuals outside of the discipline to biomedical engineering, as well as to allow undergraduates and graduates to explore career options in the field. The program encompasses a number of events, including a formal banquet, luncheon with guest speakers, and both graduate and undergraduate poster sessions.

The 13th Annual BME day will be held on Feb. 25, 2009. The BME Day Banquet and AEMB Inductions will be held Feb. 25, 2009.
