1. Cognitive Neuroscience Postdoctoral Fellow
A full-time postdoctoral position is available at the CTCN under the direction of Dr. Andrew Budson. The CTCN is located at the Jamaica Plain Campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System (150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130) and affiliated with the Boston University Alzheimer's Disease Center. The postdoctoral fellow will oversee ongoing studies to better understand and improve memory processes in patients with Alzheimer's disease and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (likely sequela of repetitive concussions). The fellow will also have the opportunity to develop independent lines of research using both behavioral and event-related potential (ERP) methodologies. Research projects using structural and functional MRI are also available.

The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or a related field, or an M.D. with equivalent training, should be highly organized, and should have extensive experience in all aspects of designing, programming, conducting, and analyzing behavioral experiments. Experience in the conduct and data analysis of EEG/ERP studies is highly desirable. Experience with patient populations is also desirable.

2. Clinical Neurology Fellow

3. Immediate Opening for a Neuropsychology Post-Doc:
Bedford Neuropsychology Training Program
The Bedford Veterans Affairs Medical Center has an opening for a two-year Neuropsychology resident interested in receiving specialized advanced training in neuropsychology. The residency program meets training guidelines in clinical neuropsychology established by the Houston Conference. The program prepares residents for the professional practice of neuropsychology, with eventual board certification by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN). Residents will gain experience in the neuropsychological evaluation of adults across the age spectrum. A minimum of one full day per week is spent involved in research activities in the Center for Translational Cognitive Neuroscience on the Boston VA JP Campus (www.ctcn.org) Opportunities for research and training are also available at Boston University's Alzheimer’s Disease Center (http://www.bu.edu/alzresearch/about/index.html).

Applicants must have completed all requirements for the doctoral degree, including dissertation, prior to starting the residency and both doctoral degree and internship must have been completed from APA accredited programs. Residencies are for 2080 hours to be completed over a 12-month period..
