By the completion of this course the student will develop an awareness and/or skills in the following areas:
1. Planning, implementation and evaluating individual and/or group treatment programs
2. Communicating clearly with individuals who have communication difficulties
3. Assessing client behavior
4. Assessing teaching client behavior and making appropriate modifications
5. Recognizing that the individuals we treat come from different cultural backgrounds
6. Understanding the legal and ethical responsibilities of the profession
