"That Which has Remained Unlived"
To the memory of a poet

"That which has remained unlived,
in this world unlived,
will hurt in the next.
Cloudberries ripen in the marsh.
That which has remained unsown,
in this world unsown,
will wither in the next.
I have no basket.
That which has remained unsaid,
in this world unspoken,
will weep in the next.
Cloudberries freeze in ice."
